2005’s representative from Latvia Valters Fridenbergs – from the duo Walter and Kazha – has some sad news for us. The 30-year old man from has been struggling with a serious form of cancer. Fundraising has begun to help the young man during the treatment.

In an interview with national broadcaster LTV, the former Eurovision participant declared that he is currently struggling with a cancerous tumour. His conditions is serious.

Fundraising support for Walters

A fundraising campaign to help Walters with his treatment has been launched on Ziedot. More than 100,000 euros have already been collected for the cause. The money will allow Fridenbergs to be admitted in a prestigious hospital in Berlin, where doctors hope to find a cure.

As part of the Eurovision family, we wish a speedy recovery to Walters.
