1. 3 Pead – Poolel teel
Current esctoday.com poll result: =8th (1.7%)
The show opens with a very unusual electronic song that also features some hip hop elements. Although it is original, it is rather monotonous. The stage performance suits the song but is kept very simple, which does not really help. Probably not a winner.
2. Marten Kuningas & Mahavok – Oota mind veel
Current esctoday.com poll result: =8th (1.7%)
The second song is a slightly chaotic electronic rock song, that might have been an experimental Eurythmics B-side 20 years ago. Nevertheless an interesting effort that is well received by the audience. The vocals are rather strong.
3. Mimicry – New
Current esctoday.com poll result: 7th (3.3%)
The first song performed in English and the first performance that features major gimmicks. The song is quite catchy and the overall performance created a nice picture on stage. The facial expressions of the lead singer seem overly tense throughout the whole song.
4. Tiiu Kiik – The one and only love

5. Violina feat. Rolf Junior – Maagiline päev
Current esctoday.com poll result: 1st (32.4%)
One of the favourites to win the national final. The dance song, which features a string arrangement, is undeniably catchy but the melody might be a bit too 1990s and lacking some edges. The costumes are a matter of taste and it is hard to believe that many people would enjoy the picture on stage.
6. Disko 4000 – Ei usu
Current esctoday.com poll result: 4th (4.7%)
The name of the group is giving it away: They are presenting a dance song. It is a rather slow one and probably needs more than three minutes to stick in one's head. Nevertheless a strong entry.
7. Iiris Vesik – Astronaut
Current esctoday.com poll result: 2nd (29.1%)
Another favourite. The song is highly artistic and reminds of Icelandic singer Björk. This one would be something completely different for Estonia and the country experienced last year that trying something new can pay off.
8. Lenna Kuurmaa – Rapunzel
Current esctoday.com poll result: 3rd (17.7%)
Time for some pop music in Estonian. In fact, the song is so overly bubbly that it is obvious that there is some sort of irony in it (which goes with the fact that the songwriter announced a few years ago that he wold not make commercial music anymore. An interesting effort, that is somewhere between artistic and sweet.
9. Groundhog Day – Teiste seest kõigile
Current esctoday.com poll result: 10th (1.3%)
A classic rock song now. The vocals are flawless and the stage performance is simple but effective. This song profits from beng performed in Estonian. Not a favourite but by no means an entry of low quality.
10. Malcolm Lincoln – Siren
Current esctoday.com poll result: 6th (3.7%)
Another unusual and interersting song. The song and vocal style slightly reminds of Norwegian group a-ha. A strong entry, which probably needs some time to grow on you. Of course, that would not make it a perfect Eurovision Song Contest entry.
A recap is shown with all ten performances. Our poll will be closed in five minutes.
