Lezioni di Nirvana… we did not have the time to take the refrain of Occidentali’s Karma out of our head and Francesco Gabbani is back with a brand new single. This time the winner of Sanremo 2017 and grand favourite for the Eurovision in Kiev goes emotional with a title ready to accompany us throughout the holidays.
Anticipated only a few days ago during a live appearance in an Italian radio, La mia versione dei ricordi is now available for every Eurofan to appreciate. Gabbani announced today on Twitter the release of the song and of the official video.

The lyrics respect the style of the singer from Carrara. They resemble to a fine poem rather than the usual pop song.
In the video, Francesco and some friends gather in a chalet in a beautiful winter frame with a lot of snow and Christmas decorations. It is in fact that time of the year when everybody desires to be with their beloved ones and when it is usual to reflect about the year that has just gone by.
Made to create emotions
The new single belongs to the album Magellano, released in Italy on 28 April, which also contains the hit Occidentali’s Karma, the Italian act at the Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev.
Gabbani hopes that his new title will “accompany the cold season and that it will get to the heart of everybody, to create emotions. The time has come to show my other faces”. Whatever face he chooses, we are sure that this new song will get stuck in our heads for a little while…
