The Russian national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 was held tonight. Last year's ost country selected The Peter Nalitch Band to represent the country in Oslo with the song Lost and forgotten.
The Russian final took place at RTR studios as a mixture of tele-voting and a professional jury selected The Peter Nalitch Band. The show hosted by Oxana Fyodorova and Dmitry Guberniev also featured last year's Eurovision winner Alexander Rybak and Dima Bilan as special guests. Originally the Russian winner in 2008 was to compete in the show but later withdrew.
