Tonight: National final in Ukraine

Tonight, the Ukrainian national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 will be eld under the title Final Nacional vidboru PKE-2010. Vasyl Lazarovich will perform all five songs and the winning song will become the eight Ukrainian entry in the competition.

The show

The show to be broadcast on Channel 1 will start at 18:00 CET (19:00 local time). Vasyl Lazarovich will perform all five songs and the winning entry will be chosen by a mixture of televoting (50%) and jury voting (50%). In the case of a tie, the jury vote is decisive. Among the guest performers will be Eva Rivas, Armenian representative in Oslo.

In 2009, Ukraine was represented by Svetlana Loboda, who finished sixth in the second semi final and twelfth in the final with her song Be my Valentine! (Anti-crisis girl). In 2010, the country will compete in the second semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 27th May.
