Eesti Laul running order revealed

The Estonian broadcaster ERR has today announced the running order for their 2010 Eurovision national selection Eesti Laul. Several days ago, the names of the guest artists to feature in the show were revealed as well. This year's Estonian final takes place next week, on March 12th, at the Nokia Concert Hall in Tallinn.

The running order for Eesti Laul 2010 is as follows:

  1. 3 Pead – Poolel teel
  2. Marten Kuningas & Mahavok – Oota mind veel
  3. Mimicry – New
  4. Tiiu Kiik – The One and Only – Love
  5. Violina feat Rolf Junior – Maagiline päev
  6. Disco 4000 – Ei usu
  7. Iiris Vesik – Astronaut
  8. Lenna Kuurmaa – Rapunzel
  9. Groundhog Day – Teiste seest kõigile
  10. Malcolm Lincoln – Siren

Besides this, ERR recently announced that the guest performers will be folk-metal band Metsatöll and last year's winner Urban Symphony. Metsatöll will perform new songs from their upcoming album, which they will officially release alongside a concert tour in 12 countries."Eesti Laul is an important event and we are proud to be the guests" Metsatöll's drummer Marko Atso says. "The presentation of our new album is a week later so it will be a wonderful opportunity to see public's first reactions" he adds.To make the the performance even more interesting, Metsatöll are performing with the biggest professional full-time male choir in the world, RAM.

The author of last year's winning song at Eesti Laul, Sven Lõhmus, said that he is happy to see that once again Urban Symphony will perform for the Estonian audience. Sven also mentioned that this year's finalists should make the music they like and not care too much about the negative comments.

Last year, Estonia managed to take part in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time since 2003 and reached a very good placing, on 6th position. Regarding this year's contest, the country will compete in the first half of the first semifinal, on May 25th.
