Tonight, Latvia will choose its entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010. Ten acts are in the running to become the country's eleventh representative in the competition.
The show
The show to be broadcast on LTV1 will start at 20:15 CET and it will be hosted by Ugis Joksts and Kristine Virsniteheld at the Juras Varti Theatre in Ventspils. Ten acts will present one song each and the winner will be chosen by a mixture of jury voting (50%) and televoting (50%).

In 2009, Latvia was represented byntars Busulis, who finished last in the second semi final thus not making it to the final. In 2010, the country will compete in the first semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 25th May.
