Good news for Eurovision Song Contest fans in Australia and New Zealand, as SBS in Australia and Triangle/Stratos tv in New Zealand respectively, have both confirmed that they will be airing both Eurovision Song Contest semi finals and the grand final.
SBS, the Australian broadcaster mainly targeted to ethnic groups in Australia, will be airing allfinals of the 55thEurovision Song Contest to be staged in Oslo, Norway. While in New Zealand, Triangle/Stratostv whose mission isto provide New Zealand viewers an alternate window on the world; will air the contest too.
For Australian viewers, SBS will air the show on a delayed broadcast at the following times. All times are in Australian local time (check local schedulefor differences):
- Semi-final 1 – Friday May 28th, 2010 at 19:30
- Semi-final 2 – Saturday May 29th, 2010 at 19:30
- Grand Final – Sunday May 30th, 2010 at 19:30
Triangle/Stratos tv in New Zealand have yet to publish their schedule but have said they will be broadcasting both the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 semi finals aswell as the final as a delayed broadcast.They expect toair the finalon the evening of Sunday May 30th.
