From now until May 24th we will give you a view on what's going on backstage at esctoday.com. Today it's a busy day: a staff meeting is planned for tonight and the preparations for Riga take almost full-time!

Sietse Bakker, Chief Editor of esctoday.com, says: “Yesterday I was contacted by the print company which will print the esctoday.com information guide for Riga. It seems that everything will be finished before we leave to Riga on May 17th”.

In Latvia, news editor Aija Medinika is busy with the coverage of all preparations in the Skonto Hall. Meanwhile, LTV's head of press Ingrida Smite keeps us up to date about what's going on behind the LTV scenes. LTV announced there will be a wireless internet network around the Skonto Hall, which means that for the team members with laptop we have to buy special cards. And so we did…

Tonight the esctoday.com staff, which exists out of the Chief Editor, Technical Chief and the staff assistant, will meet in Amsterdam to make some final decisions about Riga. We planned a co-operation with the Eurovision fanclub OGAE, record company EMI and several esctoday.com team members will act as correspondent for one of their national or local media! Also it seems that, during the Eurovision week, esctoday.com will give away Eurovision prices EVERY DAY!
