Moving on to day 9 of our 10 Days of Confirmations as we fly on over to Western Europe. The Dutch broadcaster, AVROTROS, has confirmed to ESCToday that the Netherlands will compete in the forthcoming 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon!
It is more than likely that the Dutch will once again opt for an internal selection in order to select their Eurovision act and entry for Portugal as has been the case in recent years.
In 2017, the Netherlands went internal and selected OG3NE to fly the Dutch flag in Kyiv with their entry Lights and shadows. The Dutch trio placed 11th in the Grand Final in Ukraine.
Many names have been circulating the press in recent years regarding potential Dutch candidates for Eurovision, but who would you like to see representing the nation in Lisbon? Let us know your suggestions in the poll below!
