Romanian broadcaster TVR informed today that a total of 117 songs have been submitted in order to participate in the country's national selection for Eurovision 2010. Six of them have been disqualified due to incomplete additional documents. On Monday 25th, the jury will select the 15 that will make it to the finals.

The jury will make their minds up over a total of 111 eligible entries, due to the fact that six of the submissions did not comply with the rules as to the additional documents accomoanying the songs. On Monday 25th we will find out about their decision.

Andreea Crepcia, Marius Moga, Ovi & Paula Seling, Anda Adam & Connect-R, and the 2005 Romanian Eurovision representative Luminita Anghel are among the names who have confirmed their interest in representing their native country in Oslo.
