Italy: Raphael Gualazzi returns with La Fine Del Mondo

Eurovision’s runner-up of 2011 Raphael Gualazzi has released the music video for his latest single, La fine del mondo.

La fine del mondo by Italian artist Raphael Gualazzi was released 28 May in anticipation of the international edition’s release of his album Love life peace, which was originally released in Italy in September 2016. La fine del mondo is a new track, combining Raphael Gualazzi’s soulful voice with an upbeat rhythm.

La fine del mondo is now available for streaming and digital download.

The music video for La fine del mondo was directed by JOZA, directors of photography were Edoardo Emanuele and Claudio Zagarini, producer was Roby Siboni.

About Raphael Gualazzi

Raphael Gualazzi (born Raffaele Gualazzi, Urbino, Italy, 1981) is an Italian singer and pianist, principally in the genres blues and jazz.

He participated in the Sanremo Music Festival 2011, winning the Newcomers category plus the Critics’ Mia Martini Newcomers Award and the Sala Radio-TV Award with his song Follia d’amore.

At the festival, he was chosen by a special jury to represent Italy at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf, Germany. Raphael Gualazzi was the first Italian representative since 1997, signifying the return of the country to Eurovision.

In Düsseldorf, Raphael Gualazzi performed the Italian-English version of Follia d’amore, Madness of love. As Italy was included in the “Big 5” countries, the singer performed Madness of love during the Grand Final. In the Grand Final, he eventually reached an honourable 2nd place, earning 189 points.
