Tonight, the first semi final of Söngvakeppni Sjónvarpsins 2010, the Icelandic national selection for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest will be held. Five acts will compete for two spots in the grand final.

The show

The show will be broadcast on RÚV 1 at 21:10 CET (20:10 local time). Eva María Jónsdóttir and Ragnhildur Steinunn Jónsdóttir will host the program, which will see five acts presenting one song each. The top two will be chosen by televoting to move forward to the grand final on 6th February.
