Sven Lõhmus, composer and lyricist for the 2009 Estonian entry Rändajad, has recently stated in an interview that he is quitting Eurovision. The producer is set to focus on other musical projects involving pop music.

"No more Eurovision for me", Sven Lõhmus clearly stated to elu24.ee. The composer and lyricist for Rändajad, whose entry placed 6th at Eurovision 2009, and winner of two esctoday.com awards (composer of the year and best arrangement and production), said that he "will never write a song for the contest again" and it is time to get off the eurovision roundabout and focus on producing pop music in Estonia.

Apart from the two mentioned esctoday.com awards, the 2009 Estonian entry won other 3 prizes: Best duo/group performance, most creative effort and best dressed act.

Sven Lõhmus also composed and penned the Estonian entry in 2005, Let's get loud, performed by Suntribe, which came 20th in the semifinal, thus not qualifying for the Kyiv final.
