Romanian newspaper Adevarul, partner with TVR for the organisation of the country's national selection for Eurovision 2010, reveals today that Ovidiu Jacobsen aka Ovi who won the Bronze Stag award last year for Norway, and Paula Seling, winner of the Golden Stag trophy in 2002 and 2009, have been chosen to enter the Romanian selection.
Ovi says that when he met up with Paula at the Golden Stag contest, they "agreed to work together and thought it would be interesting to present a song, especially since Eurovision will be held in Norway this year".
Ovi explains that the song they are going to present to the Romanian selection started its preparations back in November, a "rhythm tune", that is going to be submitted to the broadcaster on January 14th.
The singer also reveals that he wants to release an album this year in Romania: "If we get to represent Romania in Eurovision, I believe that the Romanians will be open to it", Ovi concludes.
Ovi took part at the 2009 final of Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix with the song Seven seconds. You can hear it below:
