The Israeli broadcaster has announced today that the information published yesterday on the English version of their official website claiming Harel Skaat to be their ambassador in Oslo was published “by mistake”. Therefore, the official announcement of the Israeli representative for 2010 has been postponed to Monday.

A few days ago, rumours claiming that Harel Skaat would be the Israeli representative at Eurovision 2010 arose, and yesterday, the information appeared on the official IBA website (English version), thus appearing to be official.

Now, the broadcaster has postponed the official announcement of their Oslo representative to Monday, when a professional committee will meet to finalise the decision.
