Beginning yesterday, a series of 8 Christmas concerts will be given by Maarja-Liis Ilus and Koit Toome in different churches in Estonia, under the title Jõuluingel.

Besides, Maarja-Liis is also celebrating Christmas with a new album on Star Management label. Jõuluingel is a collection of Season’s classics.Another Eurovision artist has his own Christmas CD recently released on DB Investments OÜ label. Aruba-born Dave Benton – co-winner of the 2001 Eurovision Song Contest – published Aastaid oodatud jõulud, which includes 15 tracks: Christmas standards in English, as well as international hits like Love me tender and Imagine, but also 4 songs in Estonian.

Maarja-Liis Ilus represented Estonia at the 1996 and 1997 Eurovision Song contest. Kooit Toome was the Estonian representative in 1998 and Dave Benton gave the country its first victory in 2001, singing Everybody in duet with Tanel Padar.
