No kissing t.A.T.u. yesterday, when the Turkish broadcaster TRT broadcasted the 26 video clips of this year's Eurovision Song Contest.

TRT replaced t.A.T.u's kissing scenes with other shots from the video. Although most private stations in Turkey show Tatu's video uncut and it is not unusual to see erotic material on Turkish television in general, TRT, which has amongst the lowest viewing figures in the country, is a particularly conservative outfit dominated by civil servants.

According to some European boulevard newspapers and a Dutch television programme the t.A.T.u. girls received strict rules from the EBU. No intimate behaviour, or else t.A.T.u. will face disqualification. The story has not been confirmed officially, but esctoday.com expects to hear more from the EBU today.
