It seems that most of the participanting artists before their departure to Kyiv want to appear in one of their own country’s TV shows in order to sing their entries and enjoy the support of their national audiences. Thus, the UK entrant Lucie Jones performed on Friday night at the BBC Graham Norton show her entry Never give up on you.

Graham Norton is a famous and celebrated tv host in the United Kingdom and quite popular amongst Eurovision  fans. He has been the UK’s ESC commentator since 2009 and has hosted the UK Eurovision  national final several times.

This marks the 60th appearance of the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest. The United Kingdom has won the contest five times; the last being in 1997 with Katrina and the Waves. You may rate their 2017 entry here.

The country, as one of the Big 5 has an automatical placement in the Grand Final on 13 May. The 62nd Eurovision Song Contest will be held on 9, 11 and 13 May at the IEC in Kyiv, Ukraine.
