More details on the Spanish national selection for Eurovision 2010 have been announced. On December 4th, RTVE opens the entries submission period, which will last for some one month. Right after, the candidates will be announced and the public will be able to cast their votes online. The voting will span 3 weeks.
All those interested in submitting an entry to Tu país te necesita in order to represent Spain next May in Oslo, will be able to do so by uploading their profile and music video for their song on the Spanish Eurovision website from next Friday, December 4th, at 12:00 CET.
The submissions period will last for about one month. Then, in January, the candidates meeting the rules will be announced and from that moment, the RTVE.es users may start casting their votes. The voting term will span 3 weeks and voters will be granted 5 votes per day and valid e-mail account. RTVE will foresee the whole voting process to avoid fraudulent ballots.
Unlike last year, the 2010 Spanish national selection will not feature musical categories to classify the competing acts. Users will decide upon their favourite song out of all the submitted entries.
