The Eurovision fan club of this year’s host country, OGAE Ukraine, announced a few hours ago their intention to give a party in order to welcome all friends of Eurovision to their country before the 62nd contest on 9, 11 and 13 May. The party is going to be held on Friday 5 May at the EuroClub (CEC Parkovy) in Kyiv.

Host country’s party rocks!

A number of artists have been invited at the party, including several former Ukrainian  Eurovision participants. The guests of the show will be: Andriy Kniaz as the Honored Artist for Ukraine, Kurasov  (2016 Belarusian Semifinalist), Tayanna (2nd place at the 2017 Ukrainian national selection)  and the 2010 Ukrainian Eurovision representative Alyosha. However, the main star of the party night will be the 2007 Ukrainian representative and runner-up, Verka Serduchka.

Here you can (again) enjoy Verka Serduchka in Helsinki in 2007 with his entry Dancing lasha tumbai:

And here’s Alyosha with Sweet people in Oslo in 2010:

OGAE Ukraine is quite happy to welcome the fans of the contest on home ground for the second time after 2005. The party is scheduled to start at 20:00 (Ukrainian time) and the afterparty at 23:00.

If you haven’t got an accreditation or haven’t got a Euroclub pass then you can purchase your tickets on the official website of the Euroclub or Concert.ua

This year Ukraine participates with the band O. Torvald and their song Time. You may rate the entry here.

As the host country, it will automatically take part in the Grand Final on 13 May. The 62nd Eurovision Song Contest is taking place on 9, 11 and 13 May at the IEC in Kyiv, Ukraine.
