Dana International is going to appear, playing herself, in the next episode of the BBC comedy “Beautiful people”. The episode, entitled How I got my plumes, will be broadcast this Friday at 9:30 PM (UK time) on BBC Two.

Beautiful people is a British comedy drama television series based on the memoirs of BarneysSimon Doonan. The first of six episodes were aired on BBC Two on 2 October 2008. The second series began Friday, November 13, 2009. The flashbacks in the second series are set in 1998.

This week’s episode plot is listed as "Debbie's millinery choices lead Simon to recall his visit to the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest, a very odd dinner with his parents' gaybours (gay neighbours) and a meeting with Dana International in a disabled toilet. Warning: contains euro-pop."
