On Friday, we reported on the 6th edition of the Liet International, a contest in which only minority language artists are competing. 11 entrants from all over Europe performed their songs live in Leuuwarden on Saturday night.
The winner of the jury award is the Finnish group SomBy, which sings in sami. The public award was given to the Italian band Dr. Drer & Cre Posse, from Sardinia. A short report, featuring the reprise of the winners and part of the performance of the public’s favorite can be watched below:
