The Eurovision Song Contest travels to the Eastern Coast of Australia, more exactly to the city of Brisbane, where a very special team of actors gathered together in an attempt to reproduce the eccentric atmosphere of Europe's favourite show.
Eurobeat is an interactive musical comedy based on the Eurovision Song Contest. The show proved a popular hit at the 2007 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and has since enjoyed a successful tour across the UK.Now, it travels down under to the Eastern Coast of Australia with their newest act Eurobeat – Almost Eurovision.
The show is going to take place in Brisbane, at the Lyric Theatre, starting on November 25th and ending on December 6th, and features a live Eurovision simulation which means each night's winner is as unpredictable as Eurovision itself.
"Ten countries are battling it out in Bosnia for the Eurobeat Award, singing, dancing and camping their way through their own song and dance numbers. Fear not, there will be plenty of sequins, Lycra, and shiny white pants, bad lyrics and cheesy dance moves, because they will stop at nothing to win this honor". This is how the act is being described.
