Kyiv has 2 international airports; Boryspil International Airport and Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany). Most international mainstream airlines fly into Boryspil International Airport (KBP); Lufthansa, Air France, British Airways, KLM, Turkish Airlines , Air Baltic, EL Al- Israel Airlines, Azerbaijan Airlines, Georgian Airlines and Ukrainian Airlines.

How to get from Boryspil International Airport to the city?

Boryspil International Airport is the main airport in Ukraine, thus the busiest one in the country with many direct international flights. Boryspil has direct flights to Barcelona, London (LGW) (LHR), Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin, Athens, Amsterdam, Riga, Stockholm, Rome, Istanbul, Prague, Paris, Sofia, Almaty, Astana, Sharm El Sheikh, Vienna, Berlin, Helsinki, Tel Aviv, Minsk, Larnaca, Zurich, Milan, Geneva, Yerevan, New York, Dusseldorf, Baku, Tbilisi, Thessaloniki, Bucharest, Warsaw, Vilnius, Tallinn, Bangkok, Dubai, Chisinau, Ankara, etc.
International flights are operated from Terminal D, whilst domestic and international charter flights operate from Terminal B.
Boryspil is the main base airport for the national Ukrainian airline- Ukrainian Airlines. Boryspil is quite a modern airport. You will find free wi-fi both in the arrivals and departure terminals of the airport. The airport is 18 km away from Kyiv’s city centre.
There are several ways of getting from Boryspil to the city:[/vc_column_text][vc_toggle title=”Pre-arranged Airport Transfer” style=”round” color=”black” open=”true” css_animation=”fadeIn”]I would recommend you to pre-arrange your transport from the airport to the city and book your transfer either through your travel agent or hotel. Boryspil airport is a 40-60 minutes drive from downtown Kyiv, take into account the drive can take longer during rush hours as there is bound to be more traffic. A pre-arranged airport-hotel transfer can cost you circa 500 UAH (18 Euros).[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Official Taxi” style=”round” color=”turquoise” css_animation=”fadeIn”]If you opt to take a taxi, then it is highly recommended to take an official taxi from the airport for a fixed price of circa 400 UAH (14 Euros). As soon as you come out at the Arrivals lounge you will find the Official Taxi Office. Please check the taxi fare to the city at the Official Taxi Counter in the airport, before taking a taxi.

The bus will take you to the Kharkivska Metro Station (Green Line). From there you will have to make your way to downtown Kyiv . Sky bus also runs bus service between Boryspil International Airport and Kyiv Central Rail Station (Pivdenny Railway Station). You can book your train tickets here.
Sky Bus Service runs round the clock throughout the day, with buses departing every 15 minutes during the morning/ every 30-45 minutes during the night, the duration of the journey is circa 45-55 minutes.
The bus fares from Boryspil International Airport
- Kharkivska Metro Station – 50 UAH ( 1.75 Euros)
- Kyiv Central Station (Pivdenny Railway Station) – 80 UAH (2.80 Euros)

How to get from Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) to the city?

Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) is pretty much located close to Kyiv’s downtown, circa 6 km away from the city centre.
Kyiv International Airport has direct flights to Rome, Hannover, Barcelona, Luton, Minsk, Dubai, Warsaw, Cologne, Budapest, Antalya, Hamburg, Larnaca, Beirut, Vilnius, Gdansk, Ankara, Wroclaw, Bratislava etc.
There are several ways of getting from Kyiv International Airport to downtown Kyiv[/vc_column_text][vc_toggle title=”Pre-arranged Airport Transfer” style=”round” color=”black” open=”true” css_animation=”fadeIn”]Personally, I would recommend you to pre-arrange your transfer either via your hotel or your travel agent as it is more comfortable and the easiest option. Trolleybus
You can take trolleybus #22 to the City Centre. The trolley bus runs from Kyiv International Airport to Olzhycha Street (15 minutes journey). The ticket will cost you 3 UAH (0.10 Euros)
Bus
Taking a bus to the city centre is another option and its quite cost efficient. You can take Bus #565 (marshrutka) to Petrivka Metro Station (6 minutes journey). The ticket will cost you 5 UAH (0.17 Euros). Buses # 169, #368, #302, #482, #496, #499 also go to the city.
