For the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest, ERT, the Greek broadcaster returns to the 2008 formula to select the country's representative in Oslo. Local record label will be invited tol submit their proposals.

This year, Greece selected the representative to the Eurovision Song Contest internally, sending to Moscow one of the country's biggest stars, Sakis Rouvas. For next year, Greece returns to the formula used in past years, 2007, 2008 for example, where local record labels get to submit their proposals to the broadcaster. ERT will have the final say on the selection of the finalists, songs and the entire process.

One of the first names to be mentioned as a possible candidate is this of Belgian-Greek artist Katherine Avgoustakis who has already tried her luck for Eurovision in 2006, when she reached the semifinals of the Belgian preselection. In a previous interview Katherine stated that she has already received a proposal from her record label in Poland to participate in the Polish preselection for 2010. Katherine, who is practically unknown in Greece, might stand a better chance in Poland where she has already had her first number one hit with 50cent's Ayo Technology.

When I first joined the team in 2007 I could never thought that in 2012 I would carry on with the legacy of ESCToday. Addicted to technology and new media I'm here to manage the team bring new ideas and develop them!
