'Austrian song will not be disqualified'

According to Eurovision-Greece.com, the Austrian entry is now cleared of the allegations against it, and can now move on to participate in the 2003 Eurovision Song Contest.

After Alf Poier's (picture) victory in the Austrian national final last Friday, the song was alleged to be released prior to the earliest date the Austrian Broadcaster (ORF) had determined. This uncertainty was solved today, as ORF confirmed Poier's Weil der Mensch zählt as it's entry to the contest, so Eurovision-Greece.com reports.
