Two former Austrian Eurovision Song Contest entrants join their forces and will start a tour entitled “Global Kryner versus Rounder Girls” on August 15th in Erlenbach-Furth.

After 14 dates already planned in Germany, Mallorca (Spain), Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands, the 8 artists will record their first CD from September 24th to October 8th, in studio Rooftop, Vienna.

The Rounder Girls retain the same line-up as in 2000: Tini Kainrath, Lynne Kieran and Kim Cooper. The three ladies are very busy singers, working on solo projects but also together. They actually have four different shows of their own : a gala programme named "A celebration", a concert programme "Love the skin you're in", a gospel programme and a Christmas programme.

As for Global Kryner, they still play a mix of different styles, from yodel to bossa nova, mostly with cover versions of international hits. The 2009 line-up is as follows : Anton Sauprügl, Edi Köhldorfer, Markus Pechmann, Martin Temmel and Christof Spörk. The Rounder Girls represented Austria at the 2000 Eurovision Song Contest and placed 14th with the song All to you. Global Kryner were the Austrian representatives in 2005, with the song Y Asi. Ending 21st out of 25 in the semi-final, they couldn’t get their ticket to the final.
