Lior Narkis, the singer who represented Israel in the 2003 Eurovision Song Contest, is now enjoying a renewed local success with a new single and a somewhat unique video clip.

Since reaching the 19th place in the 2003 Eurovision Song Contest in Riga, Lior Narkis has mostly been away from the public eye. In the last couple of years, Narkis has made some professional changes, which gave him another breakthrough, among them opening his own production company.

These days Lior Narkis is releasing the new single from his upcoming album, the 12th one in his 15 year long career. The single is called 'Metuka' (Sweetheart). The song is already gaining nice radio airplay figures in Israel, maybe due to its controversial video, which is a parody on mediterranean music videos genere.

As far as Eurovision is concerned, Lior Narkis has already stated, more than once, that taking part in the contest in Latvia was a lifetime experience for him and that he would love to be given another chance in the contest.
