Just two days before the Austrian national final, Tina Walter, one third of the participating girlgroup Substitute had a nervous breakdown. Stella Jones (photo), Austrian participant from 1995 is going to be her… substitute.

“Voice problems and the massive amount of dates” were named as the reasons for Tinas breakdown on broadcaster ORF's official Eurovision page. They add: “Tina's bandmates Dani and Sue are going to sing 'Girls of Summer' as a duet now. Stella Jones will be heard in the background choir.” Stella Jones represented Austria in 1995 with Die Welt dreht sich verkehrt, ending 13th.

The Austrian final will be broadcasted on TV channel ORF 1 this friday, 14 March, beginning at 21:10 CET. As it seems, there will be no livestream.
