Israel: Five more acts advance in Rising Star for Eurovision 2017

The third show of Rising Star 2017 was aired this evening. So far, a total of fourteen acts have advanced to the next stage of the selection.

A participant had to get at least 70% positive votes during the performance in order to qualify. Each of the four judges had 10% while the rest of the votes came from the audience in the TV studios during the filming, all voting yes or no for a specific act.

Tonight’s five qualifiers are:

  • Yosef Gal (91%)
  • Helen (90%)
  • Yonit Zaidenberg (85%)
  • Yona Shabin (79%)
  • Julietta (72%)

They join the nine acts who qualified during shows 1 and 2:

  • Beatbox Element
  • Diana Golbi
  • Hallelujah (Halli) Lewis
  • Imri Ziv
  • Judy Layne
  • Lee Sabach
  • Osher Biton
  • Sapir Nahon
  • Ta-La-Te

Julietta previously participated in Kdam Eurovision 2013 with the song Fantasia. Back then, she failed to qualify to the final:

No additional show will be aired this week. Hence, show 4 of Rising Star 2017 will be aired next week, on Monday, 16 January.
