YLE the Finnish national broadcaster has announced that the 2013 Finnish Eurovision representative Krista Siegfrids will  host the forthcoming Finnish Eurovision national final UMK 2017.

The 2017 Finnish Eurovision national final –Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu  is scheduled to be held on 28 January at the Metro Arena in Espoo, Finland. A total of 10 acts will battle for the golden ticket to Kyiv.

Krista Siegfrids represented Finland at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest with her entry Marry me. Then in 2015 Krista was the Finnish spokesperson at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna during the voting.  In 2016 the Finnish beauty competed in the Swedish Eurovision national selection Melodifestivalen 2016 with her entry Fallen.

The 2017 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 9, 11 and 13 May in Kyiv, Ukraine.
