The Montenegrin broadcaster RTCG has opened today the submission period as their quest for Eurovision Song Contest 2017 begin. Interested artists can submit their entries in the following 30 days, until 17 November.
The entries must stand with the general rules of the Eurovision Song Contest and the applying authors have to be citizens of Montenegro or have permanent residence in the country for at least two years. RTCG employees can not submit an entry as well.
Applications should be sent to Radio i Televizija Crne Gore za Konkurs za Pjesmu Evrovizije, Bulevar revolucije 19, Podgorica including CV of the artists or the authors, contact address, phone number, email address and a demo version of the composition.
It is yet unknown if Montenegro will opt for a national or an internal selection. Since it’s debut in 2007, the country held a national selection only once, and managed to qualify to the final for the first time in 2014 following another qualification in 2015.
