OGAE Israel will hold its annual party this Sunday, in Tel Aviv. Apart from welcoming Noa & Mira, this year's Israeli entrants, the event will mark the 30th anniversary of the 1979 Eurovision Song Contest in Jerusalem and the decade which has passed, since the 1999 contest in the same venue.
Noa and Mira have been invited to attend the event and meet with the fans on Sunday, an invitation they happily accepted. Apart from bidding farewell and good luck to the national entrants, the party will celebrate the anniversaries of the 1979 and 1999 Eurovision Song Contests, which were both held in the ICC in Jerusalem. A special quiz about these two contests will be held. Later on, after voting for the 2009 songs,the place will turn into a disco, when a Eurovision party will kick off.
The event will take place on Sunday, April 26th 2009,at the Culture Club nightclub, on16 Ha'Arba'a street, Tel Aviv. The event, which starts at 20:00 (sharp!), is open to the wide public. Entry ticket (100 NIS for non members, 160 NIS for entry and renewal of membership), includes free soft drinks and snacks all evening long.
