Back in January, The United Kingdom chose Jade Ewen to be the representative of the nation in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held in Moscow next month. Four months after being the Your Country Needs You winner, Jade will release the winners song, My Time.
Jade Ewen, will perform the Andrew Lloyd Webber and Diane Warren song, My Time, for the United Kingdom in Moscow, in hope of returning the Eurovision Crown to the UK for the first time since Katrina and the Waves won in 1997 with Love shine a light. My Time, will be released on Polydor records on Monday the 4th of May 2009, theweek before Jade will take to the Moscow stage on the 16th of May.
The BBC have announced that both the first Semi Final (in which they will vote) on the 12thof Mayand the second Semi Final (in which the UK cannot vote), on the 14th of May. The Semi Finals will be, as last year, broadcast liveon the BBC's digital Channel BBC3.
According to the Preliminary rehearsal schedule, Jade will begin rehearsingin the Olympiyski Indoor Arena, on Saturday the 9th of May, one week before the Grand Final.

Jade will perform for the United Kingdom. in 23rd position, in the Final on the 16th of May in Moscow, Russia.
