As announced a few months ago, Lara Fabian will release her new album next May 26th, under the title Toutes les femmes en moi (all women in me).

The concept is quite simple. Lara recorded new versions of 12 songs of her choice, performed by female singers: Barbara, Dalida, Edith Piaf, Céline Dion, Nicole Croisille, Françoise Hardy, to name a few. A 13th track is a new song by Lara herself, under the same title as the album’s.

The CD includes a cover of Véronique Sanson’s world-wide hit Amoureuse, which has been covered by a big number of performers over the years, including Olivia Newton-John. The very first single (which can legally be downloaded) is Soleil, Soleil, a French version of Soley, Soley, written and sang by Scottish group Middle of the Road. Back to 1971, the French version was made by Nana Mouskouri.

Lara Fabian will soon be on French TV to promote the new CD and concerts are scheduled, firstly in Belgium next September, then in France, in October.More information can be found on Lara Fabian’s website.

Belgian-born Lara Fabian represented Luxembourg in 1988 with the song Croire. She placed 4th.
