Ukraine is getting ready for the forthcoming 2017 Eurovision Song Contest, whilst the host city bidding race is in full swing. So far a total of 6 cities have officially applied to host the contesst next year.

NTU, the Ukrainian national broadcaster has confirmed that 6 cities have submitted their respective applications for hosting ESC 2017 so far. The 2017 Eurovision host city bidding competition will consist of 4 stages. The first stage will conclude on Friday 8 July, the deadline for aspiring cities to submit their respective bid to the Ukrainian broadcaster. Will there be any more cities entering the race? The complete list of bidding cities that have applied to host the 2017 ESC will be revealed by NTU on 8 July after 18:00 local time.

The 2017 Eurovision host city bidding race kicked off on 24 June and will conclude on 1 August, it will consist of 4 stages. Cities wishing to officially bid to host the 2017 ESC edition can officially apply until 8 July.

Bidding cities have to comply with the rules and regulations of the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest and the requirements to host the event.

The preliminary dates for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest have been set on 9, 11 and 13 May.
