Teo Cardalda, president of the Spanish music association ACAM (Asociación de Compositores y Autores de Música), said that he does not hope on Spanish Eurovision success this year.

“Eurovision is only a way to revive a surrealistic situation to use a song like a flag in a contest whith a commercial purpose, while there isn't any relation with our real problems today”, he said to Yahoo.es. Cardalda added “there are a lot of problems in this world (…) and winning the Eurovision Song Conest is an issue of less importance”.

He also criticised the voice of the audience that voted for Dime. Although he hasn't heard the song, it has no message according to Cardalda and it's a simple composition. He also thinks that televoting is not the right way to select a song for the contest.
