The song

La teva decisió is a mid-tempo pop song. In a very optimistic the singer tells that she does not want to give up a releationship although she has been told by her lover to get a life:

És el moment de corregir // It is the moment to emend
L'adéu serà com un sospir // The farewell will be like a sigh
Confio a què l'endemà // I believe that tomorrow
L'amor tornarà a mi// Love will turn to me

You've got to get a life
That's what you say to me
But I would rather die
If you're not in it with me

The singer

With her sister Pernille, Susanne Georgi founded the duo SuPer Sisters in the early 1990s. They intended to represent their home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 1991, but that was not possible as Susanne was only 15 years at that time. Their song Med eksprestog til Kina eventually finished second in the national final performed by Ole Bredahl & Ulla Bjerre. Havin released two albums in Danish, they changed their name to Me & My and started recording songs in English.

The duo was very successful in Europe. Between 1995 and 2007, they released three studio albums anda best of compilation as wells as a series of singles. Their biggest hitto date is probably the Eurodance song Dub-i-dub, which reached the charts all over Europe and was a top ten hit in many countries. In 2007, they entered the Danish national final for the EurovisionSong Contest and finished sixth with eight points.

Susanne Georgi has been living in Andorra for 13 years andhence she decided to enter the Andorran national final for theEurovision Song Contest with the song La teva decisió, which was co-written by her and her sister, and she could win theselection. To date, she has released three studio albums as a soloist: Sweet, Susanne and Tum dek dak.

The national selection

After three consecutive internal selections, the Andorran broadcaster decided to go for a televised national final again. Three acts presented one song each and the winner was chosen by a mix of jury voting and televoting. Susanne Georgi was the clear favourite with both.

Andorra in the Eurovision Song Contest

Andorra entered the Eurovision Song Contest in 2004 to little success to date. It is one of only two countries (the other being Estonia) that managed to be eliminated in all five semi final stages broadcast so far. Their best result came in 2007, when Anonymous finished 12th in the biggest semi final with 28 participants.

Desitgem bona sort i un bon resultat a Moscou a Andorra i a Susanna Georgi!
