Yohanna, the 2009 Icelandic representative at the Eurovision Song Contest will enjoy the support of Friðrik �mar and Hera Björk on the Moscow stage. Icelandic broadcaster R�V has announced that the two singers, who represented Iceland last year, one as leading singer and the latter as backing vocalist, will join Yohanna as supporting voices.

Friðrik Ómar was one half of the Icelandic duo Euroband, together with Regína Ósk, that represented the island last year in Belgrade with the song This is my life, scoring 14th place in the final. Friðrik has stated his happiness for returning to the contest just one year after his first appearance.

Hera Björk also was part of the Icelandic quest last year in Serbia. The singer played the role of backing vocalist to Euroband. This year, she tried her luck at the Danish Melodi Grand Prix entering the song Someday, which reached the superfinal, but lost to Brinck's Believe again.

Iceland will participate at the first semifinal of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, on May 12.
