In yesterday's edition of You're a Star, the Irish preselection format for the Eurovision Song Contest, Michael Leonard (photo) and his ballad I couldn't love you more, partly written by former Boyzone member Ronan Keating, was voted out.
The two competitors for the final of You're a Star next weekend are Mickey Harte and Simon Casey.
Casey's ballad A better plan is written by another boyband member, Bryan McFadden of Westlife. The prominent support did not seem to help him, as Mickey Harte topped the phone vote again, which makes him the hot favorite to win the preselection.
The final performance show will take place on Saturday, March 8th, at 20:00 local time and the live finale and results show will be on Sunday, March 9th, at 20:00.
