Azerbaijan’s Samra, who will represent her country at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, has concluded her promotional tour in style, with a very special visit to Serbia…

Samra, who will perform Miracle at the first semi-final of the Stockholm-hosted spectacular (from a starting position of fourteenth) on Tuesday 10 May, not only met up with fellow 2016 hopeful ZAA Sanja Vučić (singer of Goodbye (Shelter)) but enjoyed a dinner with Serbia’s 2007 Eurovision Song Contest winner Marija Šerifović.

This was Samra’s first time in Serbia, and Marija Šerifović helped to make the young Azerbaijani star feel most welcome with dinner at her favourite Belgrade restaurant.  Marija, who with Molitva won the Helsinki-hosted Eurovision of 2007, was on hand with her Contest experience and collection of memories.

Samra’s promotional tour encompassed Russia, Israel, Malta, Greece and Serbia.  It’ll take a Miracle to stop her in Stockholm…

Held at the Globen Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest takes place on 10, 12 and 14 May.
