Carola H���¤ggkvist, the three time Melodifestivalen winner and 1991 Eurovision Song Contest winner is backing Emilia to win Melodifestivalen 2009. Emilia revealed her star supporter earlier today in an interview with esctoday.com.

Emilia told esctoday.com that three time Melodifestivalen winner Carola Häggkvist contacted her after qualifying for Saturday's final back in Gothenburg on February 7th. She received a call from Melodifestivalen's most successful singer to offer congratulations and support.

The two women have since met up to discuss Emilia's performance and Carola has offered her some advice and support for Saturday's performance in the final. Emilia told esctoday.com that she was incredibly grateful for Carola's support and experience. The full interview can be seen later today.
