Agnes Carlsson, the Swedish Idol winner in 2005, debuts in the national Eurovision Song Contest selection show this weekend with the song Love love love. She will also see the release of two former hit singles take place this week. Also this weekend, her December hit Release me goes on sale in Belgium and summer smash On and on is to be released in The Netherlands.
Agnes was due to enter Melodifestivalen for the first time in 2007 but her song was disqualified after being revealed too early by the singer. Since then she has had a string of uptempo hits in Sweden and has been attracting international attention. The artist is now signed to BIP records internationally and has will see the first international releases of her material in Belgium and The Netherlands this week. There are also strong hints that a track is to be released in the United Kingdom before the summer.
This Saturday Swedish singer Agnes Carlsson releases the single Release Me in Belgium. With this song the Melodifestivalen 2009 participant entered the nationalchart in Swedenback inDecember last year. The Belgian release includes the Radio Edit and the Nils van Zandt Remix of the song. Release Me is released by BIP Records in Belgium and On and on is released through White Villa in The Netherlands.
