London is already gearing up for the next UKeurovision Schlager Party at The Enclave on Friday 27th February. The January event was a complete sell out and organisers are keen to ensure that regular party goers get their tickets early in order to guarantee entry.
The UKeurovision Schlager Parties are now a mainstay on the Soho party scene in London. The event has attracted press and radio interest and the event is attracting many Swedes living in London as well as the Eurovision fans. The write-ups have been a great success for the night and are helping to promote Eurovision Song Contest and Scandinavian pop music in the UK.
Last month, the United Kingdom's 2000 Eurovision Song Contest representative Nicki French attended the party and did the routine to her entry, Don't play that song again, with the largest ever backing dancer group as half the attendees were able to support her on the dance floor. Nicki was overwhelmed by the night and is rumoured to be planning a return this month.
The next party will be a special event with several of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest entries being played for the first time in London. As well as that, there will be all the latest Melodifestivalen talk and tunes as London gears up for the next wave of Schlager songs and Scandinavian hits.
Tickets are available now from the official website at www.schlagerparty.co.uk and cost £10 or £7 with the Schlager Party Loyalty Card, available for free at every event.
