The Beauty Queens, originally Marija Serifovic's backing singers and last year's Beovizija participants return together with Djordje Marjanovic and popular Serbian television hero Oskar. The ensemble is counting on some serious support in Russia, should they win Beovizija as Djordje , a living legend in Serbia, has been quite popular there for the past 30 years. The Beauty Queens' song has been composed and penned by Vladimir Graic, author of Serbia's first victorious song Molitva. Ivana Selakov used to be part of the Beauty Queens' original lineup but left the band to pursue a solo career and now participates on her own.

Natasha Bekvalac is another name to look out for as she is a major star nowadays in Serbia. Another name familiar to Eurovision fans is Andrej Babic, the composer of no less than four Eurovision entries so far.

OT band is a group comprising many Operacija Trijumf members. Zemlja gruva and Lejla Hot took part in last year's Beovizija as well. In the reserves, we see a song by popular TV presenter Jovan Radomir.

Thanks to Johnny Logan and Hold me now I fell in love with the Eurovision Song Contest, a love that's been going strong ever since with undiminished passion. My first memories date back to 1977 and the lyrics of Rock bottom, Dschinghis Khan and A ba ni bi are still engraved in my brain.

I joined esctoday.com in 2006 as a junior editor after being invited by Barry Viniker, I soon became Senior Editor and during the 2007 contest in Helsinki I was appointed Head of Communications. Today I hold the post of Head of Human Resources and I am proud to be working with the best editorial team in the world.
