TVE, the Spanish national broadcaster invites everyone to a digital encounter with Santa Fe, one of the competing candidates at the Spanish Eurovision semifinals, Eurovision 2009 El Retorno. Fans from Spain and overseas are invited to chat and submit question to the Cuban band today at 17.00 CET. Eurovision fans will be familiar to Santa Fe as they participated at the Mision Eurovision preliminaries back in 2007.
The Cuban band Santa Fe was formed back in 1996, under the name of Cambio Latino. They gained fame and name when they released their first album in 1999 in their homeland, Cuba. Since then, they have gone places and have enjoyed success in Spain where they havereleased 2 albums Fruto Prohibido and Proyecto Madre. Currently the band is working on their 4th album, which has been much awaited by their fans.
Santa Fe will be competing at the Spanish semifinals with the song You got me hot. They will be accompanied on stage with María López, Lidia Salar andAnabel. TVE has arranged special digital encounters for some of the candidates competing at the Spanish Eurovision semifinals. They ranked 3rd in theoverall voting at the Eurovision 2009, ElRetorno online selection., thus qualifying to compete in the Spanish Eurovision 2009 semifinals. Today it's Santa Fe's turn to chat with their fans and answer their questions.
