Yesterday Eurovision stars from six countries met in Moscow for an autograph session and meet and greet with fans.

Ahead of tonight’s Russian Eurovision party, the representatives from Russia, Belarus, FYR Macedonia, Cyprus, Azerbaijan and Moldova convened at Moscow’s June Mytishchi shopping mall, where hundreds of fans had gathered to see them. Sergey Lazarev gave a warm welcome to his fellow competitors. Ivan, Kaliopi, Minus One, Samra Rahimli and Lidia Isac are also spending time in Russia in order to promote their 2016 Eurovision entries to a new audience in Russia.

As part of the big event, Sergey Lazarev had a star inaugurated on Moscow’s Walk of Fame, a very prestigious award for celebrities popular in Russia. He joins celebrities such as Robert De Niro, Milla Jovovich and Placido Domingo, who also have a star in Moscow. The Russian superstar added his handprints to the star once it was revealed to him, and then posed for more photos for both fans and the press.

More Eurovision stars are expected to join them tonight ahead of the Russian Eurovision pre-party, hosted tonight at Moscow’s Izvestiya Hall at 19:00 local time (17:00 CET).
