UPD Lithuania: the results of the third quarter final

The third and last quarter final od Dainu Daina, the Lithuanian national selection for the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest was held tonight. Another twelve songs were presented and six of them were chosen by televoting for the semi final stage kicking off next week.

The following songs made it to final tonight:

1. Donatas Montvydas – From the distance – 106 points
2. Fuego – Žvaigždžiu milijonai – 90 points
3. Ruta Lukoševiciute – Window of life – 77 points
4. Asta Pilypaite & Onsa – Labas – 75 points
5. Aurelija Slavinskaite – Part of me – 59 points
6. Milanno & Karina Krysko – Kelias pas tave – 55 points

The following songs finished outside the top six in the televoting:

• Saules Kliošas – Saule – 46 points
• Širdeles – Visko per mažai – 43 points
• Natalija & Deivydas Zvonkai – Mes gyvenam gerai – 40 points
• Stano – Viskas pasakyta – 35 points
• ŠokoLedas – Plastmasine širdis – 29 points
• Indraja – Tobula – 20 points

Lithuania was represented in the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest by Jeronimas Milius, who finished 16th in the second semi final thus not making it to the final with Nomads in the night.
