RTVE's website for the 2009 Eurovision selection has already received more than 100,000 votes since the voting process opened yesterday at 12:00 CET. Concretely, the vote number 100,000 was cast at 00:51 CET last night.

This means that nearly 7,700 votes are cast in rtve.es/eurovision every hour and it is still 30 days until the voting term finishes. If we take a look at the current overall ranking, Soraya tops the voting with 5,503 votes, followed by Mirela (4,511), Melody y Los Vivancos (3,234), Julia Bermejo (2,256) and La La Love You (2,171).

As already reported, the 5 top rated acts in each category will qualify for the semifinals. This is the current top-5 in each category:
